Orly was commissioned to shoot this music video in various locations for the four-piece country band ‘Katie Thompson’.
Having a tight deadline in mind, and multiple locations on a single day shoot, meant having to be nimble and using the latest technology to our advantage. Our two ultra hi-definition RED camera’s helped, enabling us in certain scenes to record at over 200 frames per second to achieve a clean slow-motion look, and also enabling us to shoot in very low natural light, which is part of the look which the director wanted to maintain throughout the video. A simple yet memorable result was achieved on a modest budget, and we’re proud to have been involved in the making of this music video, with the help of NZ on Air.
