Orly recently celebrated the opening of its new video, animation and tv commercial production and post production studios in Christchurch. A state-of-the-art picture and sound facility built to continue the company’s role as a leading producer of marketing, advertising and online video production across New Zealand and Australia. The two-story facility is located on the edge of the city’s CBD. “With this sophisticated new facility, we are proud to extend Orly’s legacy of service to businesses of all sizes and creative agencies throughout New Zealand, Australia and around the world,” said Ross Beck, Producer/Director of Orly Productions. The new facility features three real-time 4K edit suites, a high-end sound recording studio and audio booth for voice-over recording. An animation suite providing extremely high quality 3D and 2D animation and motion graphics for video and tv commercial and online marketing video production. Orly’s new studio facility also features a large sound treated studio, with a 9 metre high, white infinity wall and built-in seamless cove with large automated blue/green chroma-key screens. The studio also features an ‘above subject’ shooting platform for shooting straight down from above people and products. Other facilities include make-up and dressing room facilities, green-rooms and various meeting rooms with 4K screens throughout.
