Recognizing New Zealand award winning cinematography.

I was privileged to be part of the judging panel in the 2018 New Zealand Cinematographers Society (NZCS) Awards, celebrated at a recent black-tie event.

I want to congratulate all of the winners and all New Zealand cinematographers working in the industry across New Zealand and the World, the talent is outstanding and getting better every year.

In particular, I loved the craft in the work by ‘Cinematographer of the Year’ winner Andrew Stroud for ‘The Changeover’ and ‘Emerging Cinematographer’ winner Maria Ines Manchego for ‘HMH: The Suncatcher’… outstanding!
